Joshua holds an MA TESL and has been in the ELT industry for over 20 years. During that time he has worked as a teacher, academic director, literacy tutor, SLA researcher, language preservationist, teacher trainer, school director, and academic manager. This includes time spent in Germany, Mexico, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and across the United States. He is currently a full-time dad and a part-time materials writer and educational creative, with a keen interest in project-based language learning and democratized publishing. 

Joshua is based in the Pacific Northwest. When he is not crafting courses, you can find him on a mountain bike, running trails, hiking, backpacking, going to concerts and dancing the night away.
